Many Cultures, One Community! This is the simple, but profoundly important and timely, message being promoted in a campaign to promote inclusivity, respect and belonging in our communities.

The “Many Cultures, One Community” campaign, is being supported by individuals, schools, businesses, charities, councils, and many other organisations and community stakeholders. The campaign aims to promote diversity and unity wherever the message is seen or heard. It serves to acknowledge the rich diversity of cultures that make up our world, our country and our local communities. These are cultures that we can all experience through a variety of forms including the arts, sports, music, food, religion, education, science and business and which all contribute to the vitality and diversity in the life of our community.

In addition to raising awareness, the “Many Cultures, One Community” campaign aims to encourage meaningful conversations and actions that will help combat racism and all forms of prejudice and discrimination. With a combination of online and offline activities – including social media, public events, educational materials and the distribution of impactful stickers, posters and badges, the campaign will support the whole community to take a stand and embrace the shared humanity that connects us all.

“Many Cultures, One Community” is about community engagement and community pride. It highlights the importance of inclusivity, respect, and understanding towards everyone in our community, encouraging us all to work towards building a future where diversity is celebrated, where everyone feels a sense of belonging, and where unity and equality thrive.
